The kitchen faucet has been used for a long time, and it is inevitable that there will be dripping. Seeing the water dripping all the time feels like a waste. There is no way to repair it in time, and it will cost a lot of money to replace a new water pipe. If it's just some ordinary minor problems that you can repair by yourself, it won't be such a waste. We can do this in the following situations:
1. Water seepage at the edge of the valve core
This is because after many times of use, the valve core is loose or displaced, just take it out and reinstall it, and there is no need to replace it with a new one.
Leaking water from the faucet is a normal phenomenon. Be careful not to use too much force or weight during normal use.
2. The water outlet leaks
When this occurs, it may be due to the pattern of the hub washer inside the faucet. You can use pliers to loosen the gland bolt and take it off, take out the gasket inside and replace it with a new one.
3. The water out of the gap under the faucet bolt is mainly caused by wear, but this situation is caused by the wear of the gasket in the gland. This problem is not difficult to solve. After loosening the screw, take off the bolt head and take off the gland and replace it with a new gasket.
The water at the junction of the connecting pipe is caused by the looseness of the cap nut, and it is only necessary to replace the bolted cap nut or U-shaped gasket.
